Job description

We are looking for a dynamic lead setter to join our Closet Factory team to represent us as a chosen Costco vendor by manning our booths at various assigned Costco warehouse locations.  The main purpose of the lead setter is to engage Costco members by creating interest in our custom storage solutions to generate leads for our complimentary design consultations and ultimately create sales.

Responsibilities:

Familiarize yourself with the services and products offered by Closet Factory.

Ability to create and maintain relationships with Costco managers.

Follow Costco’s vendor requirements for roadshows and exit kiosks.

Qualify potential clients by identifying their needs and getting them interested enough in our custom storage to generate leads for complimentary, no obligation design consultations.

Collect potential client’s correct contact information via phone scan or Costco’s Wingen app to create a lead.

Work Costco membership department to keep our vendor kiosks stocked with Closet Factory brochures.

Qualifications:

Excellent verbal communication skills

Negotiation and persuasion skills to sign up potential leads

Persuasive and results-oriented

Strong interpersonal skills to deal with a range of personalities

Professionalism and courteousness to create a positive customer experience

Ability to use phone technology (lead tracking app)

Ability to stand for long periods of time

PART TIME or FULL TIME

PAY: $18 per hour + commission + paid travel time

HOURS: Hours are flexible and vary but are typically within Costco’s roadshow hours of 10 am-8:00 pm. Thursday through Sunday.

Roadshows

Costco Roadshows are held Thursday through Sunday from mid-January through October. 10 am to 8:00 pm. (Depending on location) Vendors are allowed to man a pop-up booth in the sales isles of Costco during these dates with the purpose of signing up to schedule design consultation with Closet Factory.

Exit Way Kiosk

On other days, Costco will typically allow a lead setter to man the exit row kiosk. This kiosk is a small display that holds our brochures. The schedule for the exit row is usually flexible and can be decided between you and the Costco manager.
