Sample Coordinator

Client seeking a Freelance Sample Coordinator to support its Champion Kids team during an immediate transition period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced product environment and can step in quickly to keep sample operations organized, accurate, and moving efficiently. The position is intended as a temporary freelance assignment with strong potential to convert to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and track product samples for the Champion Kids business.
• Manage sample requests, shipments, returns, and internal organization.
• Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to support key retail accounts, including Costco and department store channels.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate sample status, timelines, and issues clearly.
• Help keep day-to-day workflow running smoothly during a team transition.
• Support broader sales and operational needs as they relate to product samples and account execution.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a sample coordination, sales support, or related apparel/product role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with urgency and adapt quickly in a changing environment.
• Comfort working across retail-focused teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
