Job description

What You'll Do

  • Install, commission, and service commercial coffee roasting and brewing equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair espresso machines, grinders, smart roasters, brewing systems, and related café equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and software-related issues.
  • Train customers on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
  • Document service activities, parts used, and recommendations using our service management system.
  • Manage service inventory and maintain an organized company service vehicle.
  • Work closely with our technical support and sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Travel to customer locations throughout Texas and occasionally throughout the United States for installations, training, and major projects.
  • Represent Roastronix with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience servicing commercial coffee equipment, foodservice equipment, industrial machinery, automation systems, or similar technical equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in customer environments.
  • Basic computer skills for service reports, email, and documentation.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial espresso machines, grinders, or coffee roasting equipment.
  • Manufacturer certifications or factory training.
  • Experience with electrical controls, PLCs, industrial automation, HVAC, packaging equipment, or food processing equipment.
  • Coffee industry or barista experience.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
