Responsibilities - Auto Dealership Assistant Service Manager:

• Assist with the profitable operation of the Service Department, support the Service Manager, generate revenue, communicate with customers, explain vehicle maintenance and repair services, create estimates, focus on customer satisfaction, and more
• Understand the CUSTOMER IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY, and assist with the satisfaction of each customer, including cheerful and knowledgeable communication
• Assist with the accurate and timely estimation and completion of all repair orders
• An efficiency goal of 100% is expected to help the service department hit the required monthly CSI.
• Assist with the accurate reporting of timecards and work orders including tech time sheets.
• Give repair orders including requests for parts to the Parts Department, to allow them to post the correct parts and price.
• Ensure all oil, lubricants, and other materials used on each repair order you write are properly charged
• Solve customer's concerns/complaints
• Demonstrate good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions
• Assist the Sales and Rental Departments with technical information and service as needed.
• Order office supplies as needed and approved
• Ensure training of all Receptionists
• Ensure Receptionist schedules are covered
• Provide Receptionist back when they have an overflow of customers or a difficult customer
• Ensure the shop's coffee area is maintained in a neat and clean manner and distribute snacks daily.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Comply with Federal and State laws
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications - Auto Dealership Assistant Service Manager:
 

• Required: Automotive Service Writer, Advisor experience
• Prefer Automotive Assistant Service Manager experience
• Good managerial, customer service, and communication skills
• Team participant, organized and customer-focused with a commitment to quality and efficiency
• Pleasant, energetic, conscientious, dependable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of business management
• A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High school diploma required
