Job description

Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley Davidson is currently seeking an Accounting/Title Clerk to join our team.
Responsibilities
  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
  • Prepare tax and title documents
  • Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles or from receiving dealership
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
  • Maintain a system to verify out of state deals
  • Process payments made to titling agencies
  • Make lien payoffs
  • Post vehicle deals
  • Post F&I products sold
  • Processing various GL account reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Process incoming payment transactions
  • Oversee vendor collections, follow up on delinquent accounts
  • Assist with month end closing
  • Answer multi-line phone
  • Data entry
  • Organizing files
  • Enroll new team members into ComplyNet and monitor training deadlines to ensure compliance
  • Maintain team member confidence and ensure all information remains confidential
  • Assist HR department with various projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Tag and title experience preferred
  • Familiarity with DMV rules and requirements
  • Great understanding of account reconciliations
  • Prior HR/Office experience preferred
  • Automotive dealership experience is preferred
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and adapt to change
  • Must be able to work well with people on all levels and be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must successfully complete a background and drug screening
