Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Leverage resources to find answers/solutions, proactively communicate statblockers in a clear manner
* Participate in the design, development, test automation, documentation and integration of the next generation Enterprise Identity Provisioning system in the cloud
* Contribute to changes to existing Identity Management components as needed to enable migration from current on-prem solution to next gen in the cloud
* Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and perform project and test planning
* Design/develop/maintain backend software - includes enhancements, bug fixes and PoCs
* Implement a full SDLC lifecycle including CI/CD in the cloud
* Participate as part of an Agile development team
* Work cross-functionally with various client's teams: product management, various product lines, and business units
* Communicate, document, and distill technical information to team members and partner organizations
REQUIREMENTS:
* Roughly 80% hands-on coding (new code, modifying existing code, testing automation)
* Proactive engineer who is a self-starter - able to quickly read/digest documentation and design
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
