  • POSITION SUMMARY:Number 1 rated hospital in South Carolina on Google and a Forbes "Best-in-State Employer" for three consecutive years - is recruiting a fellowship- trained, board-certified Breast Radiologist to join a newly established physician radiology service line. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of breast imaging and care in one of South Carolina‚Äôs most trusted and innovative community health systems. You will have the latest diagnostic and procedural technologies ‚Äì including 3D mammography, breast MRI, tomosynthesis, and image-guided biopsies ‚Äì alongside an exceptional multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, and APP‚Äôs.You will work closely with a wide range of service lines - including oncology, surgery, women's health amongst other specialty services.We are looking for a physician who values meaningful relationships, teamwork, and excellence ‚Äì someone inspired to blend clinical precision with the compassion that defines the medical center's mission.Scope of work: 80% Breast and 20% GeneralPosition Highlights
  • Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRI‚Äôs.
  • Perform and interpret image-guided biopsies
  • Lead ‚Äútriple assessment‚Äù evaluations (clinical, imagining, biopsy)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with oncology, surgical, and primary care colleagues.
  • Help build and expand an integrated, high-performing radiology service line.
  • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • 5 Year Employment Agreement up to an annual base compensation of¬†$750,000
  • $75,000¬†sign-on bonus
  • Relocation Assistance:¬†$25,000
  • $52 per wWRU bonus potential above target.

  • Affiliate of Duke Cancer Network through our Oncology Center.
  • Imaging/Diagnostics: PET scanning, 64-slice CT, 3-D mammography (numerous sites & 1 of 2 mobile mammography units in the state!), breast MRI, high-definition endoscopy/bronchoscopy.
  • Tumor Boards: Bi-weekly for breast, PCC, GI, and ENT
  • Surgical Referrals: Includes breast, colorectal, and vascular; Bone marrow transplants referred to another organization.
  • Research & Trials: Currently no active clinical trials.
  • Currently undergoing submission to become accredited by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
  • ACGME Accredited: Medical students, Family Medicine Residency, transitional year, Sports Medicine Fellowship program.
  • Clinic/Facility: 10-chair infusion center, onsite lab and pharmacy, two additional infusion centers on campus (1 general/1 rheumatology)
