Landscape Architecture Faculty members generally balance teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising students, developing curriculum, and conducting research or creative projects in the field. Many are also involved in departmental service, such as participating in committees, outreach, and collaboration with industry partners. In addition to classroom instruction, you may lead studio courses, oversee student design projects, and mentor students on their academic and career goals. The role often provides opportunities to engage with community design projects and to contribute to evolving best practices in landscape architecture education.
