ABOUT EASTERN PAVING

Eastern Paving is one of the fastest growing commercial property services companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, specializing in paving solutions for commercial and municipal projects across Greater Philadelphia and beyond. Backed by the resources of Eastern, LLC — a three-division operation covering Snow & Ice, Paving, and Landscaping — we have the infrastructure, equipment, and reputation to compete for and win significant work. We're now building the sales team to match our growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a driven, experienced Business Development Manager to grow our Paving Division. You'll own the full sales cycle — from identifying opportunities to closing contracts — with a focus on commercial markets across the Philadelphia region and beyond. This is a field-facing role that blends strategic thinking with hands-on selling. You'll work closely with our operations teams to make sure every deal you close gets delivered the right way.

---

COMPENSATION

Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Commission: 2–3% of closed contract value
On-Target Earnings: $95,000 – $110,000

---

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in commercial and municipal paving markets
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry events
- Develop and present proposals (estimating, bidding and project scoping) to prospective clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform strategy

Client Relationships
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Represent Eastern Paving at trade shows, industry associations, and community events
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospects through the full sales process

Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with estimating, operations, and project management teams to ensure seamless handoffs from sale to execution
- Track pipeline activity and report regularly to leadership using CRM tools

---

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 3–6 years of business development or sales experience in paving, asphalt, construction, or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Working knowledge of the paving industry — commercial lot work, roadways, or site development preferred
- Experience with estimating paving projects, including material takeoffs, labor costing, and bid preparation
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred — relevant experience considered in lieu of degree

---

WHY EASTERN PAVING

- Competitive base salary + commission with strong OTE potential
- Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits
- Vehicle allowance or company vehicle
- Real ownership over a growing division with direct access to leadership
- A company that's expanding fast and promotes from within

Eastern Paving is an equal opportunity employer.
