CHOICE Aviation Services - Commissary Agent
Position Summary:
A Commissary Agent is responsible for preparing, assembling, stocking, and delivering catering supplies and equipment for aircraft. This role supports flight operations by ensuring all commissary items meet airline specifications and are delivered accurately and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and Stock Catering Carts: Build, replenish, and prepare catering carts with required items such as beverages, ice, snacks, dishware, and other service equipment according to flight specifications.
Load and Unload Supplies: Deliver commissary carts to aircraft and retrieve inbound used inventory using commissary vehicles or trucks.
Inventory Management:
- Review flight bills to determine required items.
- Conduct inventory counts and restock items as needed.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing inventory.
Maintain Clean and Organized Work Areas: Ensure commissary spaces, equipment, and vehicles remain clean, safe, and organized.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all TSA, airport authority, and airline security requirements.
- Comply with company safety standards and immediately report unsafe conditions.
Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with ramp, operations, and flight crews to support onโtime performance.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.
Valid driverโs license (required for driving commissary vehicles).
Ability to pass a preโbackground check (up to 10 years).
Ability to lift, push, and pull 40โ70 lbs repeatedly and safely.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
Basic computer skills and ability to complete required paperwork accurately.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
