Spark Tek Inc is a company focused on software asset management solutions, and they are seeking a Software Asset Engineer to lead and implement software lifecycle management processes. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design and execute a formal Software Asset Management program within a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
• have 5 or more years experience in performing software asset management
• have demonstrated, hands-on experience in designing and implementing a formal SAM program from the ground up or leading a significant SAM program transformation and maturity initiative within a complex, enterprise-scale environment
• have experience to design, document, and implement the end-to-end software lifecycle management workflows, from initial request and business justification to final decommissioning and data disposal, including: establishing request & procurement processes, mining license documentation & consolidating into a definitive software library, assigning entitlements to users and devices, analyzing discovered software data and normalizing to industry standards, mastering the entire commercial software lifecycle, from procurement to decommissioning
• have practical experience writing and maintaining process documentation
