Job description

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs a hybrid DevOps Engineer for a full-time position. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for helping lead the company into automated networks. They will be responsible for designing and building automation that performs network software updates, configurations, changes, compliance checks and other tasks.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience including recent experience in network automation or NetDevOps role.
  • Previous experience automating networks in larger environments in an Azure environment.
  • 5+ years of experience of working with Cisco switches and routers. Including STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, HSRP, and VLAN's.
  • 2+ years of Python development experience for automating networks.
  • 1+ years of experience with monitoring and assurances platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus Dashboard, and Forward Networks.
  • Previous experience working in financial services company. Some exposure to Bloomberg, CRD, Eagle, or other financial investment platforms highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco Monday-Thursday.

Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
  • Relevant Certifications such as CCNP Enterprise or Cisco Certified DevNet
  • Previous experience with building AIOPS pipelines.
  • Experience working in ITIL environments.
