Overview
The Production Assistant - is responsible for safely performing apparel decorating duties as assigned by management. This position uses job related knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The production assistant selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Quality work and customer service is expected to be provided to the client at all times.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience:
    One (1) year of work experience in a related role is preferred.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge (Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.).
  • Must have knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
  • Must interact appropriately with customers and team members.
  • Must be able to carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
  • Must be able to work in a repetitious manner.
  • Must be able to learn to operate the various embroidery and heat press machines.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings, as appropriate.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).

Rate of pay: $15.00 per hour.
Physical Requirements:
May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. Will work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change.
While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to assist in lifting equipment and move furniture when necessary; will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
