Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and expand our portfolio of business insurance accounts. This role is ideal for a licensed P&C professional who brings both technical expertise and a client-first mindset. Youll play a key role in servicing existing accounts while actively contributing to new business growth in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and service a book of commercial insurance accounts with accuracy and professionalism

Quote, market, and bind new commercial insurance policies

Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy changes efficiently

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners

Educate clients on coverage details, exclusions, and policy options to ensure informed decisions

Identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts

Provide timely, responsive, and high-quality communication to clients and internal team members

Collaborate with producers and team members to support overall agency growth and retention goals


Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License REQUIRED

Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial/business insurance REQUIRED

Proven experience quoting and servicing policies such as General Liability, BOP, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Umbrella

Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

Proficiency with agency management systems and insurance quoting platforms

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
