Commercial Producer – Commercial Insurance & Personal Lines

Our client is a well-established insurance agency offering a comprehensive range of Commercial Insurance and Personal Lines products. They are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Producer to join their growing organization. This role is central to the agency's growth strategy, requiring a self-motivated professional who can independently develop a book of business while contributing to a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Self-generate prospects, build and maintain strong pipelines, establish credibility, and develop lasting client relationships.

  • Consult with prospective clients on their business insurance needs and close new business independently.

  • Actively cold call, prospect, and close deals within a B2B environment.

  • Communicate and cross-sell across departments — both creating opportunities for other teams and receiving referral leads in return.

  • Target and develop relationships with small to small-mid-size businesses as primary clients.

  • Leverage specialty knowledge in areas such as Construction, Commercial Property, Main Street Business, Manufacturing, or similar industries.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Property & Casualty license required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience; specialty experience strongly preferred (e.g., Construction, Commercial Property, Main Street Business, Manufacturing).

  • Demonstrated ability to self-generate leads, prospect, and close deals independently.

  • Proven experience and comfort with cold calling and B2B sales.

  • Consistent employment history demonstrating stability (no more than 3 positions held within the past 10 years).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
