Commissions Analyst

Location: Onsite During Training | Hybrid Schedule Upon Completion of Training (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Onsite)

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commissions Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, auditing, and reconciling commission payments while ensuring accuracy and timely entry into our proprietary commission management system. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, enjoys working with data, and has experience in finance, accounting, commissions, billing, or insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process, review, and record commission payments in the company's proprietary system.
  • Analyze and reconcile carrier payment reports and spreadsheets with received payments.
  • Convert carrier data into compatible electronic formats for import and processing.
  • Verify commission calculations and ensure compliance with established compensation schedules.
  • Maintain and update commission schedules and carrier compensation records.
  • Monitor, audit, and investigate commission payment discrepancies.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate commission documentation.
  • Assist with reviews of carrier contracts, broker compensation, and company commission structures.
  • Organize and maintain updates to carrier compensation information.
  • Support ongoing improvements to commission processing and reporting procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissions, accounting, finance, billing, reconciliation, or a related field.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to type 35–40 WPM (alphanumeric).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Experience with commission processing, insurance billing, broker compensation, or carrier payments.
  • Ability to convert PDF and other source documents into Excel for analysis and recordkeeping.
  • Experience working with large volumes of financial and operational data.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
