Non-CDL Delivery Driver

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DELIVERY DRIVER

As a Delivery Driver, you play an essential role in the timely delivery of our flooring products to our customers. Each day when you arrive, you perform a pre-trip inspection of your truck. You prepare orders by processing requests and pulling materials. Once pulled, you get the orders loaded onto the truck and transport them to their destinations. Delivering to both commercial and residential sites, you unload the product in accordance with the customer's needs. Safety is always a top priority for you as you drive and deliver products.

With attention to detail, you review orders before and after delivery to ensure that everything is complete, any changes are correct, and the client is satisfied. Upon return to the warehouse, you turn in paperwork and payments to the manager on shift. You assist with warehouse responsibilities, including working at will-call, receiving products, and placing items in their correct stocking location. You enjoy having a job where you get to travel throughout the day, which is why you excel in this distribution position!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs
  • DOT medical certification or the ability to complete certification
  • Willingness to undergo a background check and drug test upon hire
