Job description

Overview

Axia Electric is seeking a highly talented Electrical Preconstruction Manager.ย  This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of various western US States. Axia Electric headquartered in Irvine, California, is a leader in heavy civil and industrial electrical construction, serving public and private owners across water/wastewater, transportation, transit, renewable energy, and power generation markets.

Bid Management: Identifying, prequalifying, and soliciting bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and adequate scope coverage. Experience in analyzing scopes of work and providing cost comparisons with recommendations.

Value Engineering: Analyzing design elements to suggest cost-saving alternatives without sacrificing quality or performance.

Risk Mitigation: Suggesting alternative electrical systems or materials that maintain quality while reducing costs or energy consumption. Understanding electrical code and suggesting material alternatives. Vendor management and submittal requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination: Drive coordination between architects, engineers, and clients to align all parties on the project scope and execution strategy
