About this role:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by selling HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services to commercial customers. Your primary goal will be to establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, identify new business opportunities, and expand our customer base. This is a sales-focused role with no direct reports, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial sector, targeting potential clients in need of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new commercial clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering repeat business.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Conduct meetings with potential clients, present tailored service solutions, and prepare detailed proposals to win new contracts.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding service offerings.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any service or performance issues as they arise.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth service delivery, accurate quotes, and the successful implementation of service contracts.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, provide regular updates on progress, and forecast future sales opportunities to leadership.
  • Customer Retention: Proactively address client concerns, provide exceptional customer service, and offer solutions to improve client satisfaction and retention.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial sales, ideally in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development and account management within a B2B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services and solutions is preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
