Overview
The Account Manager (AM) will touch all facets of the business from aiding in the sales process to ensuring the delivery and stewardship of the deals. This individual will work with a designated sales team to ensure impeccable campaign planning across both Broadcast and Cable networks, as well as provide optimal client service support for assigned advertisers and agencies. The Account Manager will work with multiple internal teams including Pricing & Inventory/Planning/Yield to confirm pricing and inventory availability, as well as Sales Associates for delivery tracking, ADU packages, and MSAs. The Account Manager will primarily support the Independents HoldCo - Midwest line of business, partnering closely with sales and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Support the Independents HoldCo - Midwest business, collaborating with designated sales teams to drive strategy, execution, and client success across both regions.
  • Partner with sales to build client relationships, while also helping the team upsell & renew business across both Broadcast and Cable properties
  • Ensure continuity and success across pre-and post-sale activities - own the entire deal flow & manage its success
  • Work closely with Pricing & Inventory/Planning/Yield teams to build media plans for Upfront & Scatter deals across linear platforms
  • Mentor a team of Sales Associates, assisting them with pre and post-sale processes
  • Manage sponsorship opportunities within the internal system from start to finish
  • Join and participate on sales calls with Account Executives (in-person and virtually)
  • Work with Marketing, Research, and Promotion Departments to develop tailored sales presentations
  • Work closely with convergent teams to expand business across all platforms

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of either advertising sales experience (preferably linear) or TV buying/media planning experience at an agency, with a deep knowledge of digital and/or programmatic sales

Additional Qualifications:
  • A deep desire to win and grow as a Linear Ad Sales professional; thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Extraordinary communication and organizational skills
  • Solid written communication skills and ability to think creatively
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task in a dynamic sales environment
  • Must be extremely organized, detailed, and accurate with remarkable foresight
  • A devoted and driven work ethic
  • BS/BA degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience working with Phoenix, Salestrack, WideOrbit, FreeWheel, Salesforce, and/or Operative

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $69,000.00 - 84,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
