Salary: $20 - $21 Hourly DOE

Title: Mitigation Technician

Location: Colorado Springs, CO


We help homeowners restore their homes - and peace of mind - after unexpected damage. As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, youll respond to properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage.This is an important, entry-level role where youll learn valuable skills, support customers during challenging situations, and be part of a team that makes a real difference. Were looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in helping others and want to grow with our company.


What does a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis do?

  • Help customers in your community after property damage or disasters
  • Assist with restoration work such as water or fire damage cleanup
  • Take pride in completing work with quality and care
  • Communicate with empathy and a sense of urgency using available technology


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform restoration and cleanup work (e.g., water mitigation, board-up, mold remediation) under supervision
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout each project
  • Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment
  • Assist with setting up equipment and preparing materials for removal or storage
  • Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job
  • Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable as needed
  • Support warehouse and facility tasks when required
  • Assist with demolition of damaged materials


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Written and verbal fluency in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently
  • Exposure to potentially extreme weather conditions
  • Standing, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, for 8-12+ hours per day
