As a Sales Representative apart of the MCC Customer Success Team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationships with new and existing small to mid-tier customers. Your primary objective will be to drive increased revenue and profit by onboarding new business and growing year-over-year sales. In this role, you will act as a true Account Manager, coordinating activities between Customer Service, Graphics, Production, Technical, and the Customer to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

    • Customer Relationship: Consistently communicate and exhibit through service to every customer that they are valued, and their satisfaction is vital to our organization. Use intimate knowledge of the customer's business to be proactive and grow year-over-year sales.
    • Lead the overall sales activities of assigned customer accounts, including direct outreach, emails, and coordinating marketing communications support and strategies, while driving the need to grow sales and target new customers.
    • Financial: Provide input into the annual plant sales budget and monthly forecast for mid-tier customers. Ensure customer billings and pricing are accurate. Coordinate A/R process with accounting to ensure timely payments from customers. Ensure consolidation of shipping information, including cost management activities.
    • Processes: Perform and/or coordinate order process and systems, including but not limited to: Leverage Salesforce platform to document and record key day-to-day sales activities, ensure artwork, job jackets, production estimates, work and shipping instructions are processed in a timely manner in accordance with company standards and a continual focus on process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Inside Sales, Outside Sales or Customer Service experience within a manufacturing environment
  • College degree strongly preferred; High School diploma or GED equivalent with experience-equivalent required
  • Proficient with Office 365 (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
  • Previous CRM Salesforce experience preferred but not required
  • High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and effectively communicate findings
  • Must be able to work at a computer, sitting at a desk and using a computer keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. daily to fulfill duties
  • Must be able to move about in office and plant in a safe manner
  • Periodic travel to customer sites and other facilities is required

This role is primarily office-based or home office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, occasional walking or light lifting, and may involve brief visits to manufacturing areas; reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
