COLLECTIONS SUPERVISOR

MBM Collections | Monroeville, PA

MBM Collections is a leading tax collection company specializing in the collection of delinquent real estate taxes and municipal claims. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Collections Supervisor to join our team in Monroeville, PA. This is a full-time, daytime role with no cold calling and no evenings or weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Collections Supervisor is responsible for the collection performance and taxpayer service activities for an assigned group of delinquent tax accounts. This position works independently to assist taxpayers, resolve account issues, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with applicable tax collection procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Manage collection activities and taxpayer service for assigned delinquent tax accounts.

•        Respond to taxpayer inquiries by phone, email, and written correspondence.

•        Research account history and provide accurate account information.

•        Reconcile accounts and process adjustments, refunds, change orders, and interim billings.

•        Review collection reports and identify accounts requiring additional collection efforts.

•        Negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent taxpayers.

•        Work closely with the Legal Team regarding sheriff sales, bankruptcies, and other legal collection actions.

•        Maintain accurate account records and supporting documentation.

•        Deliver professional, responsive service to taxpayers and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

•        Minimum one year of collections, accounts receivable, delinquent account management, or related experience.

•        Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

•        Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

•        Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

•        Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications.
