Job description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Inside Sales role to support daily operations through effective vendor management, customer communication, and administrative coordination. This is a critical role within the organization, requiring strong relationship management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Coordinate operational activities to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and customer inquiries.
  • Track and maintain accurate records within company systems and ERP platforms.
  • Support process improvements and help streamline operational procedures.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and collections activities as needed (less than 5% of the role).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer and vendor needs are met.

Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or related operations is considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  • Ability and willingness to learn and utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
