Assistant Community Manager – LIHTC Experience
About the Role
Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring an experienced Assistant Community Manager with LIHTC compliance expertise. The Assistant Manager will support daily property operations, oversee rent collection, manage resident relations, and ensure affordable housing compliance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, post, and process rent payments in Yardi.
  • Manage delinquent accounts, evictions, and move-outs.
  • Conduct annual and interim LIHTC income certifications.
  • Maintain compliance files and support audits/inspections.
  • Assist with leasing, renewals, and resident retention programs.
  • Support Community Manager with reporting and daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in property management.
  • LIHTC compliance experience required.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing guidelines.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Yardi experience preferred.
