IT Manager, Collaboration

Contract to Hire (6 months to FTE) | Onsite


Job Description:

One of our top digital banking clients has recently emerged as a spinoff from their parent company. Due to this, they need to hire an IT Manager, who will be at the forefront as the company builds out the IT division from the ground up. You will standup all of the companies collaboration applications and services from scratch, including O365, SharePoint, Teams, etc. to ensure a seamless integration with all of their necessary business applications for over 2,000 employees. You will be responsible for providing solution development and third-level support for the Collaboration Services (mostly Microsoft 365). The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to take a solution through the complete solution development lifecycle including planning, design, build, unit and system acceptance testing, knowledge transfer and solution support. Eventually, you will be responsible for building out your team and hiring only the best. This is a dynamic environment, where you’ll have abundant growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving and cutting-edge digital banking landscape! This is an ONSITE position that requires 5 days a week!


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in an IT Management role overseeing and managing collaboration applications
  • 3+ years of people management experience – hiring and building out a team
  • Prior experience standing up and supporting a Microsoft Office shop including—O365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Teams phone, Video Teams Conferencing, etc. from scratch
  • Strong technical experience designing & supporting collaboration solutions
  • SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange, and Exchange Online technical administration experience
  • Microsoft Office (2019+, 365 ProPlus) experience
  • Experience integrating third-party business applications into collaboration platforms.


Nice to have:

  • Fintech or Software company experience
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Messaging Administrator Associate, Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate, etc.
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
  • Scripting experience (including PowerShell)


Responsibilities:

  • Manage/Lead Collaboration team to build and maintain Collaboration Services: Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and related 365 services with a hands-on contributing management style.
  • Leadership ability to direct offshore development and support functions and outsourced service providers as necessary to accomplish goals.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to influence/communicate with senior leaders.
  • Use appropriate toolsets to design and maintain end-user automation for the self-set-up computer build process.
  • Maintain the documentation on the collaboration services tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Review, recommend, and test for deployment, the software solutions in this space.
