Job description

Cold Storage Warehouse / General Labor

**Location: **McAllen, TX

Pay: $13 per hour

**Job Type: **Full-Time / Contract

**Work Environment: **Cold Storage (32°F–45°F)

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Cold Storage Warehouse Associates / Production Workers to support operations in a fast-paced food production facility. This role involves packing, sorting, and staging chilled or frozen products while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Job Duties

  • Pack, sort, and label poultry on a production line
  • Debone chicken, trim chicken meat products
  • Remove damaged and spoiled products
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders according to customer requirements
  • Stack and organize products onto pallets for shipping
  • Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling
  • Operate pallet jacks and RF scanners (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitation tasks
  • Follow all safety and food handling procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, production, or food handling experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in cold temperatures (32°F–45°F) for extended periods
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
