Join Trane Technologies! We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Rentals Cold Storage Account Manager to become a valuable part of our team. As a Senior Rentals Cold Storage Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling container cold storage rental solutions to potential clients. This role requires a strong technical background in refrigeration systems and a solid understanding of the container cold storage industry. The primary objective is to generate new business opportunities, build relationships with customers, and achieve sales targets.

Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in unlocking new opportunities and driving the success of our rental efforts.

What you will do:

  • Utilize account management process to identify new customers and develop specific action plans to grow identified accounts.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
    • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, regularly updating the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, helping them select the most suitable container cold storage solutions based on their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and customize container cold storage solutions based on customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure their ongoing needs are met and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, maintenance advice, and coordination with the technical team.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team to enhance sales strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 (five) years of business development and solution sales experience in the refrigeration market space.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
  • First-hand experience and strong working knowledge in one or more of the following vertical markets: Cold Storage Warehousing, Food and Beverage, Food Processing or Pharmaceutical.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
