Job description

ColonialWebb is hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to support our Industrial Construction team with a strong focus on mechanical, PVC, and utility piping systems. This role is responsible for all field operations at the project level, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule execution of complex industrial mechanical and piping projects.

Typical projects include food processing facilities, cold storage and distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and other industrial environments requiring process and utility piping systems, including steam, chilled water and glycol.

What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in mechanical, PVC, and/or utility piping construction
  • Strong background in industrial mechanical systems.
  • Experience with piping and industrial utilities such as steam, water, air, and glycol
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate field crews
  • Strong safety mindset with thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Willingness to travel as required; clean driving record
What You'll Do:
  • Maintain responsibility for on-site field operations including safety, quality, schedule, daily reports/required documents and productivity
  • Lead mechanical, PVC, and utility piping construction activities including process piping and steam systems
  • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and helpers
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, and job orders
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and deliveries
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies
