About the Role
We are seeking a Service Line Specialist to join our team supporting our Insurance sector for our digital experience practice area, Cognizant Moment.
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and go-to-market champion for Cognizant Moment services within the Insurance industry. You will partner closely with insurance vertical account management teams and adjacent service lines to identify, shape, and close opportunities - combining deep Insurance domain knowledge with expertise in experience transformation, AI, and digital commerce.

Work Model

Desired locations are NJ or NY. This role does require approximately 25% travel. In this role you will:
  • Champion the Service Line - Act as the Insurance subject matter expert for Cognizant Moment, partnering with account management teams to embed experience capabilities into Insurance pursuits. You will shape how we show up in the market, build credibility with P&C, life, health, and specialty insurance carriers, and drive awareness of our capabilities.

  • Drive growth - Your work will include crafting a sales plan, leading a pipeline of opportunities, and working with new prospects and existing clients to build a problem statement that serves as a guidepost for solutioning.

  • Build compelling solutions - You will assemble and lead pursuit teams with appropriate skills to help your new prospects and existing clients tackle their problem statement. You'll be accountable for the story, the structure of the deal, and pricing - with a clear lens on Insurance regulatory context, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics.

  • Be a trusted advisor to your clients - You'll actively seek to establish relationships with key client stakeholders in marketing, digital, product, and customer experience functions within insurance organizations. You will be accountable for client satisfaction and will proactively generate thought leadership that supports your clients' desire to look ahead and anticipate the market.

  • Collaborate Across Cognizant - You'll be the point person to assemble skills/resources - within Cognizant Moment and across the organization - to respond to client needs. You'll work closely with internal account teams to plan and run existing clients.

Success in this role is based on both total contract value (TCV) targets as well as client satisfaction, and you will have specific goals around both new logos and expanding business with current clients.

  • Strategic problem-solving: The ability to understand business challenges and requirements from the customer's perspective, as well as industry trends, and translating them into experience solutions that generate growth.
  • Market/Industry prowess: Deep understanding the insurance sector. Will have worked with leading businesses in this space.
  • Sales experience: Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of driving revenue growth in digital experience or AI spaces.
  • Executive Presence: Effective executive communication skills to clearly articulate solution vision and demonstrate solutions in a simple but compelling way. You'll also need to be able to create your own compelling presentations.
  • Relationship management: Outstanding interpersonal abilities; skilled in handling relationships with customers, market teams, and other practice guides.
  • Commercial knowledge: Ability to analyze sales opportunities and qualify leads and opportunities. Need expertise in crafting pitches/proposals, GTM, and sales plans.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000-$185,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
