Our Market team works daily to provide World Class Service by delivering and selling refreshments and merchandise to our customers. 

We need a Merchandiser to help attain the team's goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Work Days, Monday through Friday  
  • Using Imperial’s unique sales analysis tools, analyze products to determine customer needs and assist in maximizing sales, reduce spoils
  • Place product to maximize marketing using C-store concept merchandising
  • Understand and help with Product Shrink & Loss Prevention
  • Design and Implement Plan-o-grams
  • Drive and deliver hot shot orders to increase customer needs satisfaction
  • Drive company vehicle, Deliver product (beverage, snack, pastry, fresh refrigerated food, etc.)
  • Lift and load product (50 pounds) on & off the vehicle both with and without assistance
  • Walk, Sit, Bend at waist and knees, overhead reaching, stooping, stairs, driving
  • Use work issued phone/tablet/computer to take inventory and order product
  • Be on time and present
  • Display Independent judgment to maximize the sales and provide for the needs of the customer
  • Work independently and have World Class Customer service and interaction with our customers and clients
  • Have direct contact with packaged food items that are for public consumption
  • Work closely with operations and Account Managers to maintain World Class Service for our customers

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • A safe driving record deemed by insurance carrier & valid license
  • 1 + years of relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel everyday to and from the client/customer site in all weather elements, driving a company vehicle 
  • Ability to work well with people and independently
  • Flexibility
  • Adaptability to handle other merchandiser tasks that may arise
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn
  • Able to communicate challenges that arise
