Job description

The Barista / Coffee Shop Attendant enhances the guest experience by preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks, offering exceptional customer service, and promoting merchandise in the gift shop. This role plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, driving sales, and upholding operational standards.

HOW YOU’LL SHAPE THE EXPERIENCE & FUTURE

  • Greet guests and provide information about available food, beverages, merchandise, and hotel amenities.
  • Prepare specialty coffee drinks following established recipes and operate coffee shop equipment safely and correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, including equipment, displays, and floors, according to SOPs.
  • Restock and refresh merchandise and food displays to ensure an inviting presentation.
  • Open and close the coffee shop on time, following proper setup and closing procedures.
  • Process all sales through the Micros system, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to accounting procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels, communicate restocking needs, and assist management with ordering.
  • Secure all cash and deposits per hotel and company policies.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Other duties as asssigned.
