Job description

WTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are seeking an Occasional Part-time Mailroom & Building Services Assistant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Drive company vehicle to pick up and drop off mail from the Post Office

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Receive and process loading dock deliveries

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Pick up sweepstakes from caller window - seasonal pick up schedule

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Log in overnight deliveries and sort and distribute mail/packages throughout the day

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Pick up and distribute inter-office mail

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Operate postage meter for outgoing mail and maintain postage allocations by dept.

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Handle all incoming and outgoing UPS, FedEx and Amazon packages

ย ย ย ย ย ย  On call for light cleaning/deliver cases of copier paper or water upon request

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Daily coffee machine maintenance - refill/empty coffee machine

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with setup of rooms for meetings, parties, special events and pledge

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Moving of office furniture and misc. office equipment upon request

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with misc. office services or courier runs upon request

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Recycle paper pick-up throughout the building per scheduled days

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Parking lot duties upon request

ย ย ย ย ย ย  Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED:

SALARY RANGE: $18-22/hour
