Quality Improvement Assistant

Part-Time Position

Mid-Step Services, a non-profit organization serving the needs of children and adults who have developmental disabilities, is currently accepting applications for a Quality Improvement Assistant located in Sioux City, IA.

Primary duties will include reviewing documentation for completeness, accuracy and timeframes to ensure compliance with the Iowa Administrative Code. Review and compare the documentation of services to the approved amount of billable hours of service for each person. Ensure that services billed are authorized within the Case Manager’s Plan. Ensure goal action steps are being followed. Responsible for remaining up to date on changes to rules/regulations. Provide informal training/feedback to staff that will improve documentation compliance.

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, computer skills (Word) and (EDOC) and supervisory experience and knowledge of HCBS rules and regulations is preferred.
