Lawton Mechanical Contractors is currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber with 1-2 years of experience in commercial plumbing to join our growing team. We specialize in ground-up commercial construction and are committed to delivering quality workmanship and service that exceeds client expectations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support lead plumbers with the installation of plumbing systems on new construction sites
  • Learn to perform plumbing installations and repairs in compliance with local codes
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing piping and pipeline systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Gain knowledge of plumbing products, materials, and tools through hands-on training
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety policies and procedures
  • Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude

Requirements
  • Must have a current Texas Apprenticeship Card
  • 1-2 years of Commercial plumbing experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn
  • Able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test and Background check
  • Valid TX Driver License with an insurable driving record
  • Physically able to bend, stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 lbs
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions while observing proper safety precautions

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, non-exempt position eligible for overtime
  • Standard hours: 8-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 or 8:00 AM, ending around 4:00 or 5:00 PM
  • Overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations may be required as needed to meet project demands

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
