Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist Trainee will learn to perform a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures with accuracy, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with supervision. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.  Must demonstrate competency performing routine MRI exams within six months of commencement of the MRI training program.

  • Canton, GA - Monday-Friday 7am- 3pm

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of 24 month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
  • 12 months previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality
  • ARRT certification in Radiology
  • IV credentialed if applicable
  • BLS certification

Physical Requirements:

Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, stoop and lift and walk without restrictions.
