We're currently seeking a motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, service, and maintain residential HVAC systems with attention to detail and care, contributing to high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer satisfaction in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems-including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems-in compliance with manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine system layout and installation requirements.
  • Perform electrical, refrigerant, and gas line connections for HVAC systems, ensuring proper grounding, sealing, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct system testing using diagnostic tools to identify leaks, measure pressure, and verify performance; adjust settings to optimize functionality and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers, installation coordinators, sales supervisors) to ensure smooth project execution and system integration.
  • Educate homeowners on system operation, routine maintenance, and energy-saving practices to promote long-term system performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately document work performed, including materials used, system specifications, and customer interactions, while maintaining clear and professional communication.
  • Uphold all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe work practices on every job site.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked job site and service vehicle to promote efficiency, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, or maintaining HVAC systems in residential settings.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC system components, such as compressors, motors, fans, coils, and controls, as well as basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentation with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, HVAC codes, and proper handling of refrigerants, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Proficient with basic hand tools and comfortable using diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, leak detectors, and pressure gauges.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, professional manner.
  • Dependable and self-motivated, with a willingness to continue developing skills through on-the-job training and formal education.
  • Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment, working in attics or crawl spaces, and being on your feet for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; able to travel to job sites as needed.
  • EPA Section 608 certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
