Why do pediatricians dislike CoComelon?

Moonbug is part of Candle Media, an independent, creator-friendly home for cutting-edge, high-quality, category-defining brands and franchises. By bringing together elite talent operating at the intersection of content, community, and commerce, it helps to position leading entertainment businesses for accelerated, sustainable growth in the current market and beyond

New York, NY, On-site

The Role
As a Senior Account Manager at Moonbug Entertainment, you will own and grow meaningful client partnerships, serving as a trusted, executive-level partner across a diverse portfolio of accounts. You will lead complex relationships and play a key role in driving account health, retention, and long-term growth, representing Moonbug confidently with senior stakeholders.

In Brand Partnerships, Account Management means being in the driver's seat for bringing big, imaginative programs to life inside the world of Moonbug. You will oversee the execution of custom social integrations, bespoke YouTube content, Roblox sponsorships, cross-channel paid media campaigns, events, and more, all for major household-name brands looking to connect with families around the globe. We are the doorway for brands to step into Moonbug's colorful universe and speak to our massive global audience, and you'll ensure every partnership feels seamless, thoughtful, and impactful.

This is not a pitch role. It is where the magic gets made. Creative concepts and sales conversations may start the journey, but you are the one who makes sure what was promised becomes reality. You will quarterback cross-functional teams, solve problems in real time, keep timelines tight, and ensure our partners feel supported every step of the way.

This role is ideal for someone who brings strong executive presence, sound judgment, and the confidence to navigate day-to-day decisions while collaborating closely with leadership and internal teams. You'll mentor junior teammates, help refine how we show up for brands, and contribute to initiatives that elevate the entire department.

If you love structure and process but also thrive in a fast-moving, playful environment where global brands meet beloved kids content, this is the seat for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and grow a portfolio of established client accounts, including one or more priority partnerships with major name brands, with responsibility for retention, satisfaction, and long-term partnership health across high-impact, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Serve as a senior client lead across complex accounts and multiple workstreams, operating with strong judgment and day-to-day ownership while remaining closely aligned with leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior and executive-level client stakeholders, including C-suite and senior leadership.
  • Lead high-level client meetings, setting strategic direction, aligning expectations, identifying gaps, and driving clear next steps.
  • Oversee account strategy and identify opportunities to expand partnerships through thoughtful, value-driven recommendations.
  • Sit at the center of your accounts, orchestrating collaboration across the teams within Brand Partnerships - including Media Ops, Analytics, Creative, and Production - as well as key cross-functional partners across Moonbug such as Social, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.
  • Partner closely with Analytics and key stakeholders across Media Ops and Channel Management to translate campaign performance and consumer insights into clear, compelling client narratives and impactful reports that drive strategic conversations and inform future opportunities.
  • Evaluate workflows, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and scalability across accounts.
  • Participate in department-wide initiatives focused on account growth, retention, and operational excellence.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their development and acting as a resource for best practices, with the opportunity to grow into formal people management responsibilities and direct reports over time.
  • Become a subject matter expert across Moonbug IP and the kids and family entertainment ecosystem.

Strong preference for candidates with deep YouTube channel management experience within established digital media ecosystems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or project management roles.
  • 3+ years of experience within the media or advertising industry, including media agencies, publishers, or creative agencies.
  • Experience retaining and growing long-term client relationships across multiple types of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex accounts with confidence, exercising strong judgment in day-to-day decision-making while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Clear executive presence - someone who can step into a client meeting, command the room with credibility and clarity, and represent Moonbug with authority at senior and C-suite levels.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage up effectively, and align cross-functional partners around shared goals.
  • Emerging people leader with experience mentoring junior team members and a desire to take on greater leadership responsibility; direct management experience is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities across high-stakes accounts.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and levels of seniority.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and brings a proactive, growth-oriented mindset to account leadership.
