Days/Hours of Work: 

Regular Hours: 5:00pm - 5:30am - 12 Hour Rotating Schedule

Orientation and first week schedule: Tuesday (Orientation) - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Summary

The Warehouse Raw Material Handler is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing raw materials to support manufacturing and production processes. This role plays a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy, quality control, and ensuring that the right materials are available when needed.

Job Responsibilities

1.  Receive incoming raw materials, supplies, and components from suppliers or delivery trucks.  Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and quantity.  Verify materials against purchase orders and shipping documents.

2.  Accurately record and label received materials, including lot numbers and expiration dates. Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic and efficient manner. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy.

3. Safely store raw materials in designated storage areas, following proper handling and storage procedures. Rotate stock to prevent material deterioration or expiration. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

4.  Prepare and package materials for production according to production orders. Deliver raw materials to production lines in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Ensure the accurate and efficient movement of materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.

5.  Conduct visual inspections of materials to identify damage, defects, discrepancies, and document results into our QM system. Isolate and report non-conforming materials and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

6.  Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, and distributions. Generate reports related to inventory levels, consumption, and materials usage.

7.  Follow safety protocols and guidelines for material handling and storage. Comply with environmental and safety regulations. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of one year of work experience is required.
  • Previous experience in warehouse or material handling roles is required.
  • Forklift operator experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
  • Capable of working flexible shifts when necessary, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Speaking: Constantly (investigates, recommends, reports, etc.)
  • Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
  • Mobility: Frequent travel throughout production center (walking in warehouse)
  • Bending/Squatting: Frequently (picking up product, moving product)
  • Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
  • Climate: Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment (cold, hot)

Pay: $21.50 an hour
