Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for selling and ordering product for customer accounts. Serves as the frontline liaison and ensures customer satisfaction is achieved. This role is responsible for rotating company product by date, both out in the market and in inventory. Aids the merchandising team by keeping products stocked and available onsite.
Job Responsibilities
  • Orders product at accounts on an assigned sales route. Determines product needs and places and transmits appropriate orders for each one. Utilize technology for order processing and inventory and other applications pertinent to the success of the job.
  • Execute and sell big event marketing, pillar programming, innovation, and mandated features and ad activity to ensure customer satisfaction and company standards are being met. May sell in Customer Marketing Agreements (CMA).
  • Builds, changes, and removes product displays and POS (Point of Sale). Ensure proper pricing. Cleans product space and secures damaged or defective product. Repack product when/where possible. Transports, replaces, and maintains POS advertising as appropriate for the account.
  • Communicates account activities with the customer to ensure quality and timely service. Work with and collaborate internally with merchandisers and drivers; maintain communication about goals, projects, and day-to-day needs of accounts.
  • Ensures consistent adherence to merchandising and customer service standards. Stock and merchandise products in the allocated beverage section including coolers, racks, and secondary displays.
  • Maintains end to end ownership of the account through appropriate action and/or communication.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience required.
  • Customer service experience in a retail environment or in a sales position being held accountable for sales targets preferred.
  • Basic computer application and technology skills required.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
  • This position requires you to use your personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement. Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.
  • Must be open to flexible schedule; may be required to work some holidays to meet customer demands.

Physical Requirements
Field work intensive. Daily and weekly travel to local accounts and prospect sites. Lifting occasionally up to 50 lbs or less. Ability to professionally represent employer at the customer location required.
Pay: $47,800.00 - $56,763.00 a year
