Days/Hours of Work:
Job Summary
Account Specialists are responsible for taking face-to-face orders at accounts within an assigned geography. The Account Specialist develops strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service and timely communication. Responsible for servicing the outlet to include merchandising and rotating our product, along with building displays and maintaining point-of-sale.
Job Responsibilities
  • Visit assigned accounts to create and transmit product orders. Manage and record product inventory and ensure proper rotation of replacement stock. Work with store personnel to ensure order accuracy.
  • Utilize the company-provided look of success to execute customer approved programs in assigned accounts. Reference files and tools should be used to create accurate orders.
  • Build effective relationships with store personnel to assure superior customer satisfaction. Meet the customer's expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow-up.
  • Maintain and merchandise product in beverage sections and throughout accounts, including shelf allocation and cold equipment.
  • Transports, replaces, and maintains point of sale advertising.
  • Maintain clean and organized backrooms and manage trade breakage.
  • Follow established procedures and policies in relation to accurate time recording and safety standards.

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience required.
  • Merchandising or retail experience required; working knowledge of customer ads and sale items preferred.
  • Basic computer application and technology skills.
  • Prior experience using pallet jack preferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.

Physical Requirements
  • Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
  • Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
  • Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (email, reports, texting)
  • Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations (walking in backrooms, aisles, greeting customers)
  • Bending/Squatting: Frequently (looking in racks at all levels, ordering product, counting cases, checking dates)
  • Lifting: Frequent- Lift 40 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
  • Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
  • Travel: constant travel between customer locations

Pay: $21.25 an hour
