Hiring Range

Hiring Range:$115,000.00 - 150,000.00

Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance.

Overview / Role Summary

Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Urology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Urology Specialists on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of experienced urology providers delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in both outpatient and procedural settings.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive urologic care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning

Perform and assist with urologic procedures within scope of practice

Manage acute and chronic urologic conditions in both clinic and hospital settings

Conduct patient education, counseling, and follow-up care

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to clinical best practices

Required Qualifications

Nurse Practitioners

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current or eligible Virginia Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
  • National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)

Physician Assistants

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current or eligible Virginia Physician Assistant license
  • National certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Licensure & Regulatory Requirements

  • Eligible for Virginia licensure at time of hire
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred, based on practice setting
