About The Role

As a Robotics Specialist under the Customer Success team at Seegrid, you will be instrumental in implementing AMR solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity at customer sites. You will drive customer adoption by ensuring end users and site leaders are properly trained, involved, and invested in the product and application. The heart of Seegrid is our customers, so the ability to build rapport and provide world-class support is crucial.

The Robotics Specialist role is based out of Detroit, MI and may require up to 80% travel.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Possess a unique combination of hands-on problem solving, analytical thinking and a customer-service spirit
  • Manage and conduct all on-site training and adoption support activities
  • Partner with Seegrid Support, Engineering and Field Service teams to provide the best possible resolution to customer concerns
  • Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing dynamic environment
  • Coach customer staff on safety, operation and application details
  • Maintain detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including resolutions implemented, records of time, expenses and materials
  • Prepare for implementations by reviewing drawings and specifications
  • Take ownership on-going skill development by engaging in regular product and software trainings
Required Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in electrical/mechanical technology, or at least 3 years of experience in robotics implementation or programming
  • Ability to work long hours in noisy and busy environments
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong customer interface with commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good technical knowledge of Windows; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally and maintain a clean driving record - Passport is required
  • Must be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision
