Purpose: The Co-Op Program provides opportunities for students to understand and become actively involved with sales, parts administrative, and/or service-related activities within the dealership. The program is a short term employment opportunity, lasting for a semester or possibly throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
o Actively participates in project assignments centered-around sales, parts and/or service-related activities at the dealership.
o Participates in training relative to sales, parts and/or service.
o Works with and shadows selected personnel to gain experience with various employment roles at the dealership.
Requirements
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o Interest in an agricultural-related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, parts, administrative or other related work.
o Basic knowledge of database software, computer application systems and ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
o Solid oral and written communication skills.
o Must be at least 16 years of age
