Description
As a Software Development co-op/Intern at Gleason, you'll work alongside an experienced team to contribute to our GEMS Machine platform.
In this role, you'll:
  • Collaborate with senior developers on software for bevel gear machines and learn industry best practices in software engineering.
  • Develop new features and optimize existing ones to enhance our modular GEMS Machine software platform.
  • Design and implement internal tooling to support the development of GEMS Machine.

This co-op/internship is ideal for tech-savvy students eager to get hands-on experience as a software engineer in a manufacturing environment. You'll gain valuable insight into the industry and make an impact as part of a forward-thinking team in a supportive setting.
Qualifications
Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience with C#/.NET or similar technologies.
Desired Skills:
  • WPF
  • Knowledge of API's and web services.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
  • Containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Development with databases including SQL.
