Job description


Do you have CNC Milling operation experience? If so, we have an immediate opportunity available for you. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
  • Operate CNC Horizontal/Vertical Mill Machines
  • Observe spooling and cutting, detect malfunctions, and replace worn tools
  • Install proper holding fixtures and tool holders
  • Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position; may require cranes or hoists
  • Position, secure, and align cutting tools and holders
  • Complete preventative maintenance procedures on equipment
  • Inspect parts to verify conformance to specifications
  • Maintain area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition and adhere to safety procedures and regulations
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, malfunctions, and continuing needs

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have general knowledge of machining and machine maintenance
  • Must have functional and technical skills
  • Must have the ability to utilize crane and hoist
  • Must be comfortable standing 20 to 30% of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Must have strong conceptual and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to pay a high attention to detail and have sound judgement
  • The ability to display safety in all actions in the workplace is mandatory

Any candidate that knows how to operate a YCM TV188B, Cogsdill Horizontal boring mill, or a VTL is a plus.
