CNC Set UP / Operator - Salary solely depends on CNC experience

Only 23 miles from downtown Indianapolis, and 1 mile from the Avon / Danville border.

We are seeking a senior, highly skilled person in CNC lathe Machine Operations to join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated and hardworking candidate that is capable of the following responsibilities for our CNC MAZAK lathe and milling machines to produce high quality products.

The salary for this position depends solely on the experience and work knowledge in CNC lathe and milling operations. 10 hour DAY shift Monday - Thursday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run our CNC MAZAK lathe and milling machines as required
  • Program our CNC MAZAK lathe and milling machines
  • Train employees on our CNC MAZAK lathe and milling machines
  • Schedule and coordinate work throughout the production facility
  • Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in set up of CNC lathe and milling machines preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of Lathe and milling experience on CNC MAZAK machines preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in employee training
  • Able to read and understand precision measuring
  • Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to handle physical workload
