Job description

THIS POSTION IS LOCATED IN GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN

THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT POSITION 

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, or tend to CNC equipment in the machining center
  • Program customer’s drawing into the machine using Virtual Gibbs/ G Code
  • Interpret and work from complex drawings, blue prints and specification
  • Select the tooling to complete the part
  • Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances
  • Notify supervisor when work received does not meet the specifications required by previous operators
  • Responsible to record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports
  • Maintain clean equipment/tools and work area
  • Follow established safety procedures
  • Perform all other jobs as assigned

Minimum Requirements of Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

Education/Experience:

  • CNC Machining technical diploma or other postsecondary program in precision machining is required. In lieu of a technical diploma a combination of education and experience may be substituted with knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance, as well as knowledge of the raw materials being used.

Specialized Experience:

  • Computer skills and
    ISO experience is a preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawing, along with CNC programming ability is preferred.
