Job description

Modular Web Solutions has an extensive background in producing custom web handling equipment for various industries and applications. 

Opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist on 1st Shift - Competitive Wage - Competitive Benefits!

  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in the set-up and operation, with minimum supervision, on CNC machine centers or boring bars. Expected to be knowledgeable in the proficient and safe use of all required set -up and inspection equipment.
  • Working from blueprints, along with verbal instructions, must be able to select proper tooling, set up and operate machine, determine speeds and feeds, produce required product in accordance with acceptable standards of performance, quality and safety.
  • Understand G&M codes.
  • Ability to write a CNC milling programs from a blueprint.
  • Ability to use inspection and measuring instruments including mics, bore gauges, calipers.
  • Ability to hold close tolerance work.
  • Ability to use simple shop math for checking speeds and feeds, surface footage, etc.
  • Ability to follow written set-up sheets and verbal set-up instruction.
  • Ability to use all support equipment for set-ups and inspecting parts.
  • Ability and willingness to learn GibbsCam software or conversational "at machine" programming.
