Work Schedule:
Based at our Waukesha, WI facility in a 1st shift capacity, with schedule options being 5:00am - 1:00pm or 6:00am - 2:00pm.
Position Overview:
This CNC Machinist is based at our Waukesha facility, home to our ReUp manufacturing program. ReUp's suite of remanufactured solutions allows customers to manage their emissions without sacrificing reliability. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology including 3D measurement tools, and dyno test equipment. This ensures that each remanufactured product meets Waukesha's high-quality OEM standards. Furthermore, all Waukesha ReUp engines and spare parts come with the same factory warranty as new OEM products. It's an exciting time to join Waukesha as we continue to grow and expand our operations!
Role Summary/Purpose:
The CNC Machinist is responsible for machining components for large gas compression and power generation industrial engines and delivering a high-quality product to our customers while maintaining a safe work environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Interpret machined part drawings and specifications.
  • Read and understand service manuals.
  • Utilize computer to access to assembly blueprints, 3-D assembly instructions, manuals, engineering memos (ECO's), and sketches.
  • Verify part conformance to print as needed using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Maintain tooling and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Help in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of machining and handling large industrial engine components.
  • Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.
  • Experience with Fanuc CNC controls a plus.
  • Experience operating Makino CNC machines a plus.
